Today, terror-facilitator and CAIR director Nihad Awad called 9/11 FDNY first responder and survivor Tim Brown a “fanatic” during a Fox News debate over the mosque proposed for Ground Zero:
FBI surveillance shown as evidence at trial shows Nihad Awad was present during the infamous 1993 Holy Land Foundation (HLF) meeting in Philadelphia. During that meeting, Awad represented the Islamic Association for Palestine in North America (IAP) and discussed with other U.S. Muslim Brotherhood spin-off group members how to funnel “charity” money to Hamas. The IAP later changed its name to the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) and Nihad Awad has long been its Executive Director.
Hamas has been on America’s terror watch list for the past 15 years. In 2008, five members of the HLF were convicted of providing material support to terrorists after it was proven they had transferred more than $12 million to Hamas. Moreover, CAIR was named as an un-indicted co-conspirator in that trial.
CAIR, Hamas, and al Qaeda are all offspring of the Muslim Brotherhood and all of them are Islamists working to create a world caliphate. Some might call Nihad Awad a ‘terrorist’; I would call him worse, with emphasis added.
By the way, 19 Muslim terrorists and their co-conspirators committed mass murder on 9/11. Of the 2,976 they killed, 22 of the victims were Muslims, not “300” as Nihad Awad asserts; his is a phony ‘victim’ narrative.
