Alfred Marchand was our son in law. He was a good Christian man and he loved our daughter very much. She was there in New Bedford with him for four days and they parted that morning at the airport. They had discussed their desires for how they wanted their funerals to be on that last day. We miss him still. He was good to our family.

This day is upon us again after 8 years I still cry like it was today. You all are still special in my heart. Following your brave and courageous days those of left behind faced some of the hardest days of our lives. You are all loved so much by co-workers, families and friends. The next few days it was evident to myself, Adam, Ron and Ralph as we worked in the crises center trying to be strong in front of those that were crushed that Tuesday morning.

My heart hurts, and always will for , all we lost that day. It’s hard to find words for evil/cowards..that tried to undermine our resolve.
