Editor — The take-off title of this post comes with an apology to the memories of song writers Jimmy McHugh and Dorothy Fields who wrote “I’m in the mood for love” in 1935 for the movie “Every Night at Eight.” It was first recorded by Frances Langford in 1936. Here are the lyrics:
